The word shiatsu translates as finger pressure. Acupuncture paths and points are relaxed and harmonized with the help of fingers, palms, elbows. Shiatsu therefore belongs to the TCM techniques. It is similar to acupuncture, except that we use fingers to put pressure on the acupunctural poins instead of needles.
Shiatsu helps to speed up recovery after an injury or surgery and is a good prevention of civilization diseases.
It is suitable for use, for example, in insomnia, feelings of weakness, headaches and abdominal pain, strengthens the immune system and it generally supports the functions of internal organs.
It can also bring great relief to pregnant women (constipation, swelling of the limbs, difficulty breathing towards the end of pregnancy).
